Stephen Ministry
A program that equips lay persons to provide one-to-one care to those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances, both in our congregation and community. |
Parish FriendsParish Friends teams are available to help families in our church at the time of a death in the family. They offer hospitality and organize receptions to follow funeral services. |
Pastoral Care CompanionsThe companions provide visits and friendship for members of the congregation who are homebound or in nursing homes. |
Healing MinistryAt ESC, laying on of hands and anointing for healing are available in the church each Sunday prior to the 8 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. services. It is also available at the Thursday morning Eucharist. |
Feed My SheepMembers of this committee provide meals for parishioners who are ill, homebound, and families with a new baby. |
Telephone MinistryMembers of this group minister to ESC members who are on the parish's long-term prayer list and those who live alone, are sick or in need. They provide a confidential listening ear to those no longer able to participate fully in the life of the parish. |
TransportationESC's van service provides transportation to the 11:15 a.m. service (10 a.m. in summer) for seniors and the disabled. |
Prayer ChainMembers of the prayer chain pray daily for ESC parishioners, their family members and friends who are in need of prayer. |
