YANKs is a ministry representing young adults who have completed high school to those in their 30's. Eastern Shore Chapel is committed to helping young adults grow in their faith and connect with their peers through parish and independently sponsored events. From fun-filled nights to service-oriented days and from meaningful fellowship to spiritual growth, there is a wide range of activities to meet the diverse needs and interests of young adults.
Plans are being made to have a monthly Sunday brunch after church and an evening of “Coffee and Conversation” at a coffee shop.
YANKs meet on Sunday morning at 10:20 in the Catechist Room. It is a time for discussing spiritual and ethical topics. The group is facilitated by leaders who are always open to suggestions. YANKS help to decide the shape and direction of the program.
